The gray cartoon shark uses one large circle as a template.

It looks like a cute baby shark, but it has sharp teeth. Ouch! My finger.

WIthin the template we measure and add the rest of the objects.

This shark is facing the viewer directly, so we should see the body in a shape of a circle.

We draw four objects outside of the shark's body, two side fins, one fin on top and the rest of the shark's body on the bottom.

How to Draw a Gray Cartoon Shark

Lesson 1 Gray_Cartoon_Shark-min

Draw a gigantic circle in the center of your paper like in the photograph.

Leave room to draw the upper fin and the bottom of the shark's body.

Step 2

Lesson 2 Gray_Cartoon_Shark-min

Now we draw four objects, the upper fin, the left and right fin and the shark's bottom.

Measure each part while drawing to make it look like the image.

Remember to use the large circle as your template to draw neat lines.

Step 3

Lesson 3 Gray_Cartoon_Shark-min

Go ahead and draw two big and beautiful shark eyes.

Take your time and draw the shark's teeth like in the picture.

Don't add too many teeth because it may look like a piranha.

Step 4

Lesson 4 Gray_Cartoon_Shark-min

Add the gray and green colors to your gray cartoon shark as the final step.

When drawing the shark's background, be creative and add fish from the sea.

Fun Facts 101

Sharks have very good eyesight

The other interesting fact about sharks is that they have excellent eyesight.

If you expect them not to see because they live in water, you are wrong.

Studies show that most shark species can see very well even in dark areas.

A shark’s eye is like that of a human; It is made of cornea, lens, and retina.

However, they have a unique tissue that makes them see well underwater.

It locates this special tissue behind the retina.

We believe that a shark can see 10 times better than human beings.

Also, since sharks are more active at night than during the day, it means they can see at night.
