Measure the line that runs through the center of the body.

Connect the lower fin to the line in the middle.

Fun Shark Facts

Sharks do not have the same teeth

Teeth are very significant to a shark's diet and hunting habits.

They use them when killing, grabbing, and tearing.

And since the teeth are bigger than most sea creatures, fishermen and hunters love them.

When a shark losses a tooth when eating or hunting, it is easily replaced, but with discomfort or pain.

Sharks have around 3000 teeth which allows them to continue their activities if they lose a tooth.

However, all sharks do not have the same teeth.

For instance, Mako sharks have pointed teeth while the White shark’s teeth are triangular.

Also, the shape and the size of a shark tooth depends on the species.

And since most shark species do not chew their food, the teeth are used to grab, hold, and tear the food.

Another interesting thing about shark teeth is that they are the only part of the shark that has bones.

The shark's teeth allows them to hold or attack any animal in the water.
